Roles & Responsibilities
========================
- Leader of the technical community
- Regular project reviews / lessons learned sessions, in co-operation with CNE PAO Lead
- Collection of best Systems Delivery practices developed in the field
- Report back to CNE management on improvement plans, project status reports,...
- Provide information to Corporate PSD on field issues
- Create and maintain overview of skills required, by
- Maintaining regular contact with Corporate PSD
- Maintaining regular contact with PS Sales/Marketing
- Regular contact with the field teams
- Defining gaps between sales expectations and field abilities
- Recommendations to management on training and hiring plans
- Provide input to CNE and local resource managers
- Act as mentor and Subject matter expert on Systems Projects
- Follow train the trainer sessions
- Pass knowledge on via trainings, mentoring,...
- Work as high-level architect
- Advisor in presales situations
- Architect in project delivery
Key Requirements
================
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Project Management and delivery of complex Storage projects
- ITIL certified
- Extensive knowledge of Sun's Systems Products and Services offerings
- Independent, creative, self motivated and able to work with teams as well as on own with limited guidance, in a fast changing, international environment
- People management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive
- Willing to travel frequently
- Fluent in English. Knowing one or more of the languages spoken in CNE is an asset.
